ACUPRESSURE MASSAGE
What is Acupressure Massage?
This ancient method of healing goes back over 4000 years and its founder is The Yellow Emperor.

The Ancient Chinese believed that Heaven, Earth and Man were interconnected and continuously affected by one another, therefore if man lived in harmony with Heaven and Earth and avoided the extreme of Nature, his health would be good, would have longevity and a strong Spirit.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the meridian system consists of meridian channels, which are spaces situated along para-muscular fascia through which our vital energy, known as Qi, flows, with the acupoints along their paths.

In today's challenging world of commuting, desk jobs, bad posture, injury or stress, causes tension in our back, neck, shoulders & leg muscles which are designed to help the stability of our core muscles instead of building tension.

The same principle is applied to this ancient form of healing as Acupuncture, but instead of needles, firm but gentle pressure is applied to the same acupoints, combined with Meridian Stretching technique, this massage sequence will help reduce tension, bring stability and induce general health and wellbeing by using slow and meditative movements that stills the mind permeating tranquillity and peace.
Acupressure also releases endorphins, which is the body's natural pain relief.
